Rob De Luca started playing guitar at the age of 15.[1] He first played bass in a band called Bang.[2] When the members of Bang met vocalist Ray West Spread Eagle was born.
Spread Eagle formed in 1989 [2] and after just a few months of rehearsals they signed a record deal with MCA. They released two records: their debut Spread Eagle in 1990 and Open to the Public in 1993. Although quite popular amongst their fans they never had major commercial success and disbanded around 1995. In 2006 they reunited for a tour and a remastered version of their debut album was released.[3] As of December 2010 they are reunited and touring the Northeast of America.[3][4]
Rob De Luca joined Sebastian Bach's band in 2005.[5][6] They toured as direct support for Guns N' Roses and as headliner in the US, Canada, China, Australia, Europe and South America since.[7]
Amongst others Rob de Luca also shared the stage with UFO, Helmet and Joan Jett. His newest band project is Of Earth.
